Cyclon Brushless Motors - Big Boss

Designed specifically and entirely for big power, the Big Boss can replace engines in the 160 CC range and drive a whopping 32x12 propeller. With its 28 poles and enormous rotor of 10cm (3.9 inches) in diameter the Big Boss makes it possible to deliver fantastic torque, all very smoothly.

The Big Boss with it's large amount of power is intended for planes of extra large size, weighing up to 30 kg (66 pounds)! Hovering is possible with aircraft in the 20 kg (44 pounds) range!

The Big Boss is designed to function with 12 LiPo cells, or up to (48 volts). With the Big Boss being able to pull 300 Amps, it is necessary to only use batteries of sufficient capacity and with a discharge ability of 20 times the capacity in order to feed the system for best performance.

The propeller on the Big Boss is fixed using a central bolt and with 6 secondary screws. It is mounted directly on the aluminium hollow shaft whose diameter is 3.7cm, (the same as a comparable glow or gas engine). the Big Boss comes accompanied with a specific 300 Amp speed controller.
